Furniture Removal

The couch came in somehow. We'll get it out.

Old sectionals, sagging mattresses, the dresser nobody wants — we get it out of your house, loaded on a trailer and taken off your hands. You point, we remove.

The hard part isn't the dump run

Most people can find somewhere to take an old couch. The hard part is the twenty feet between where it sits and the curb: the turn at the top of the stairs, the door frame it barely cleared on the way in, the back you don't want to throw out over a piece of furniture you're getting rid of anyway.

That carry is the job. Peaks handles it from inside the room — upstairs bedrooms, back porches, the storage room off the garage. If a piece has to come apart to get through a doorway,  including disassemble bed frames, sectionals, bunk beds?

Peaks is owner-operated, so the person who books your job is the person who shows up with the trailer.

Single item or a whole room? Both work. Some common pieces have a set price, and bigger loads are priced by how much of the 14‑foot trailer they fill. There's no trip fee for coming out.

Piece by piece

Couches & sectionals

Sleeper sofas are heavier than they look because of the metal frame inside. Let us know if yours has a pull-out bed so we plan for it.

Mattresses & box springs

Any size, including the box spring and frame.

Recliners & lift chairs

Power recliners and lift chairs should be unplugged before we arrive. Lift chairs are heavy, so expect them to count as a larger item.

Dressers, armoires & chests

Empty the drawers first. A full dresser can weigh twice as much and the drawers slide out on the stairs.

Tables, desks & bookcases

Dining sets, office desks, entertainment centers, particleboard shelving that won't survive another move.

Outdoor furniture

Rusted patio sets, broken loungers, the swing that's been sitting by the shed since last summer.
