Yard Debris & Storm Cleanup

After a storm comes through, the limbs are down, the fence is leaning and the curb is already full. Peaks hauls off what the regular yard-waste pickup won't.

When the curbside pile isn't an option

Most city and county yard-waste collection in the Midlands comes with rules: branches cut to a certain length, a cap on how big the pile can be, bagged leaves only, a set pickup day. Those rules work fine for an ordinary weekend of yard work. They don't work when a thunderstorm drops half an oak across the backyard, or when you've just torn out forty feet of fence.

Check your own town or county's rules first — if your pile qualifies, curbside is the cheaper route. When it doesn't, or you can't wait two weeks for the next collection, that's where we come in. We load from where the debris is, not just from the curb.

We haul. We don't cut trees. Peaks isn't a tree service. If a tree is still standing, leaning on a house or tangled in power lines, call a tree service or the utility first. Once it's on the ground  we cut to manageable size and we'll take it away.

What we take from the yard

Branches, limbs & brush

Storm-downed limbs, trimmings from a big pruning job, overgrown brush cleared from a fence line or an empty lot.

Old fencing

Wood privacy fence, chain link, posts — with or without the concrete footings still attached.

Landscaping waste

Pulled shrubs, old landscape timbers, rotted raised beds, bags of pine straw and leaves.

The stuff behind the shed

Broken play sets, rotted lattice, old trampolines, the pile everyone has been meaning to deal with.

Get the pile ready

  • Keep it in one or two spots the trailer can back near.
  • Leave a clear path through any gate — tell us the width if it's narrow.
  • Pull out trash, metal and construction scraps; they're disposed of differently than green waste.
  • Don't bury the pile in loose dirt. Soil adds weight fast.
